I was heartbroken when the Provo tabernacle burned

one of the two most important events in the history of mankind

and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness

after being warned by an angel in a dream of Herod’s plot to kill the child Messiah

they completed the work and hundreds of saints received the blessings of the temple before being driven from their homes and their beloved Nauvoo

The story of Lazarus is the perfect symbolic parallel for Christ's relationship to each one of us

is involved in every detail of our lives
