MilkyMoon - March Lily

MilkyMoon - March LilyMilkyMoon is a single ply, fingering weight, 90% merino wool and 10 % Linen, Yarn. Our yarn names were inspired by the Karoo. Having the 10% Linen in the yarn gives a lovely textured rustic look as is our beautiful Karoo. The Linen does not take on the dye as evenly as the merino wool resulting in a delightful highlighting effect. Sometimes the linen is also a little thicker in places so this gives the textured look. This yarn can be used for knitting

Our yarn dying method may result in semi-solid colours and there could be variation of colour in each ball of yarn

All our yarns are made in small batches and dyed by hand

The chunky texture of the wool is luxurious and definitely well suited for those cold winters days

This specialised treatment ensures that these yarns can be washed on a wool cycle in the washing machine

MixedMoon is best suited for knitting or crocheting socks
